Simple but Sweet

I thought i just met little angel this afternoon. At the end of the class where i teach, i give a remedial test for some students that got bad scores. One by one, students finished their test until there was Alvin left.

Alvin is a boy student that good in speaking English in daily conversation but sometimes i didn't understand what he talking about because the pronunciation is not clear. One day, he sleeping in my class and i remind him. Starts from that time, he often come to me to talking (complained) about the lesson that he felt too much.

Other teacher that also teach Alvin, told me that he comes from exclusive primary school where their curriculum is different with regular school and that he a little bit 'backwardness'. May be, that is why he feel difficult to follow the lesson in the class and he got many complain from teacher, including me, because his score is bad. But, actually, i give my excuse to him.

This afternoon, when he did his remedial test (alone / without a friend), i saw he cannot finished his task by his self. So that, i lead him to solve the problem. Carefully, Alvin listened to my direction.

In the middle of that time, he 'drooling' and then he said to me, " i'm sorry if i often gape in the class ".

i feel so touched when i hear his statement. T~T Subhanallah.

And i said, " that's okay Alvin. but close your mouth by your hand whenever you 'yawn'. okay!"

And after he finished his test, he run excitedly to his young sister that already waiting for him to go home together.

Alvin, you are a good and honest boy. and i can feel that you love your sister so deep. And Alvin also have a big spirit to study even though it's hard. and i love it. Subhanallah. Alvin's statement of his apologies is simple but sweet. I thought i just met little angel this afternoon.
